Privacy Policy

1. What Fusion Core is

Fusion Core is a media player and library manager for media you already own. We do not provide, host, supply, distribute or sell any music, films, television or other media content. The App contains no pre-loaded content. Internet radio and podcast streams are third-party public feeds that you choose to play.

2. Information that stays on your PC

The following is held on your computer and is not transmitted to us:

• Your media library details — titles, artists, albums, artwork and folder locations
• Playback history, play counts, resume points, favourites, playlists and equaliser settings
• Local usage counters the App keeps to arrange its own screens
• Microphone and camera input used by the karaoke features (see section 4)

This information is stored in your Windows user profile and is removed when you uninstall the App and delete its data folder.

3. Information we collect

• Account information (optional): the App works without an account. If you choose to create or sign in to a Fusion Core account, your email address and password are sent to our account server at fusioncoremobile.com to sign you in. Only your email address and a sign-in token are kept on your PC.
• Device information (only if you enable remote access): if you turn on mobile or TV access, the App registers your computer with our server so remote connections can reach it. This includes your computer’s name, a device identifier and connection tokens.
• Subscription information (Pro only): if you subscribe to Fusion Core Pro, we record that your account holds an active subscription, together with its status and renewal date, so the App can unlock Pro features. Payment itself is handled by the payment provider used at checkout — we do not receive or store your card number.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, when the App contacts our servers. These are used for security and to keep the service running.

4. Microphone and camera

The karaoke features can use your microphone, and optionally your camera, so you can sing along and see yourself on screen.

This audio and video is processed live on your computer purely to produce what you hear and see in the App. It is never recorded, saved, uploaded or transmitted — not to us and not to anyone else. These features stay off until you switch them on, and the microphone and camera are released when you leave karaoke.

5. Third-party services

To show artwork and information about your own media, the App may send a title, artist or album name to third-party services and display what they return. These services receive only the search terms needed to answer the request. They include The Movie Database (TMDB), MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, TheAudioDB, fanart.tv, Deezer, iTunes, the Radio Browser directory, and YouTube for trailers.

Each service processes requests under its own privacy policy. The App also checks fusioncoremobile.com for updates, and if you installed from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles distribution under its own terms.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only where needed to operate the service, to comply with legal requirements, or to protect the security and reliability of the App.

7. Data retention

If you create an account, we keep your account record for as long as the account exists. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Contact). Information held on your own PC is under your control and is removed when you uninstall the App and delete its data folder.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will reflect any changes, and continued use of the App means you accept the revised policy.
